So, Adobe Max was AWESOME! I can’t believe it’s over. It’s taken me a few days to come down from all the excitement and creative energy that we absorbed during the conference. If you are a creative and use Adobe products, you have to find a way to attend. It’s well worth it. The sessions and labs are some of the best and are all taught by industry professionals that are at the top of their game. And Adobe goes to great lengths to make the conference fun and interesting. From the Community Pavilion, where there are booths with hands on projects you can participate in, to the Adobe Max Bash, where Adobe pulls out everything thing they can think of to throw the most amazing party every!
Each year they give a gift to all the attendees. Last year was my first time attending the conference and I was speechless when I learned that Adobe and Microsoft teamed up and gave away free Microsoft Surface computers. How awesome was that? My first thought was, “did Oprah take over Adobe?!”
I wasn’t sure if that was a one time thing or if it would happen every year, so I was truly happy to see that Adobe teamed up with FujiFilm this year to give away the FujiFilm X-T10 camera! What!? I couldn’t have been more excited. The camera is great and I was so eager to use it that I charged the battery as soon as I got back to my hotel room. Some of the images in this post were taken with the X-T10, specifically the panoramic photos.
The Community Pavilion was a lot fun. Adobe made sure that a lot of the activities there were hands on. This really helped to get the creative juices flowing. They had everything from a booth that allowed us to create image transfers onto tin plates (DassArt.com), to a booth that took bullet time portraits (Eric Paré).
The Adobe Max Bash was the most insane party that I’ve ever been to. A donut wall (yes a donut wall), popcorn frozen in liquid nitrogen, food trucks, dancers from FUERZA BRUTA NYC performing above us in water (yes, I said that correctly), and performances by the bands Cage the Elephant and Fitz and The Tantrums…this party didn’t stop. Talk about sensory overload!!
