These photos are from a trip I took to Santa Rosa Island during my time at California State University Channel Islands. I followed a group of students that were visiting for a research trip. It was my first time visiting the island and I was simply blown away by its beauty.
I didn’t knew much about Santa Rosa, but I quickly learned that it had a rich history and that it had been the home of the Chumash. The students frequent the island and are encouraged to go no matter what major they may have.
